I made the Colette Ginger pattern a month or so ago, but was afraid to zip it. I made a 4 when I really ought to have made a 6. I had been snacking nonstop at the shop (curse you, Trader Joe’s deelishis cookies! Especially you, Vanilla Meringue of Doom), but I’ve been using this app to count my calories and decided it was time to give it a try. It zips! I’m afraid that it accentuates my belly a little, but whatever. I really love the fabric, one of our upholstery weight prints by Premier Prints (this color is out of stock at the moment, but we’ll get more, I promise!)
Ginger has been out of stock, but I ordered a metric ton of them last week, so they’ll be here soon. We also have new Colette sundresses on the way; I’m really excited to try one of those. I’m going to trace out an Eclair at Crafty Foxes Sewing Club tonight to tide me over.
